About Us

The EduCare Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational foundation, founded in 1990 and based in Thousand Oaks, California. EduCare is dedicated to assisting and empowering schools, school districts, youth-serving agencies, teachers, and parents to better serve our world’s youth and prepare them to lead healthy, fulfilling, and successful lives.

Beginning with its ACE (Achievement and Commitment to Excellence) Program in 1987, the EduCare Foundation has provided programs for schools, colleges and youth-serving agencies in:

  • leadership development
  • parent involvement
  • school restructuring and reform
  • violence and crime prevention
  • self-esteem and life-skills
  • community service
  • multi-cultural unity
  • adventure-based leadership initiatives
  • cross-age mentoring
  • after school youth development
  • conflict resolution and consensus-building

EduCare's programs with youth, teachers and families have been offered in over 200 schools, districts and youth-serving agencies for more than 20,000 students and 20,000 teachers and parents world-wide.

The ACE Program assists young people in becoming high achievers, promotes healthy relationships at home and in the community, and works to prevent destructive social behavior such as substance abuse and crime. EduCare has been widely cited as developing outstanding models for innovative and self-sustaining change.

“ACE helped me learn how to reach my goals, take positive risks, and build self-confidence.”
