M-TAC College & Career Day @ UCLA

This spring, more than 175 students from 36 LAUSD middle schools participated in 'College & Career Day' as part of an experiential learning, leadership, and community service campaign spearheaded by LAUSD's After School Branch, Beyond the Bell (BTB).

The TAKE ACTION Campaign is a collaboration of LAUSD, BTB, after school providers, and community organizations across Los Angeles. United around a common desire to give students leadership skills, celebrate the arts, serve our communities, and empower students to mentor their peers, this partnership focuses on youth-driven programs and events incorporating one or more of the campaign's core themes: Service, STEM, Matriculation, and the Arts.

EduCare Student Leader, Naomi, from Sylmar High School answers our Middle School Take Action (M-TAC) kids' questions about high school, college, and life.
