Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteering with EduCare can take a variety of forms. Giving of your time and energy can be on an “on call” basis, at one of our day-long projects, ongoing service of once a week or once a month or whenever your time permits. We welcome volunteers working out of their own homes doing computer work or telephone calls.

Training Support
Attend youth workshops to give logistical and moral support to the students. This may require some previous experience with EduCare in order to be eligible.

Job Shadowing
You can assist students by giving them a tour at your place of work for a day. This is a great help in educating our young people about various occupations and professions. Our students are especially interested in the entertainment industry, medical related fields and education.

Office Support
Work with friendly and competent staff to provide logistical and administrative support for EduCare’s youth. You can set your own hours and will have an opportunity to use your office skills such as word processing, data entry, filing, copying, putting together packets, mailings, packing supplies, and organization.
