Language in Action Raises Awareness with Spoken Word, Poetry, and Song

This past year, English-language learners improved their language skills while learning about community issues. Students from each campus chose one specific issue to focus on, resulting in a creative presentation designed to raise community awareness.

A series of virtual celebrations, held by Beyond the Bell during the last week of May 2021, gave these enterprising students a showcase to present their work to fellow students from different campuses.
